Recover Group Executive Management Team

Erik holds a Master of Science degree, with Major in Finance from Norwegian School of Management BI, and a Bachelor of Commerce from University of British Columbia. Erik came from the position as CFO of Norlandia Health & Care Group. Prior to this, Erik held several CFO positions within the Oil & Gas and Offshore sectors. He started his career at Goldman Sachs International. Erik joined Recover as Group CFO in August 2022 and is, since 2026, also holding the role as Group CEO.

Niklas Wahlstedt joined Recover Group in 2022 and has since worked broadly across the organization with strategy, analysis, business development, and finance-related topics. In 2026, he joined the Executive Management Team as Director Group Strategy & Business Performance. Prior to joining Recover, he worked in management consulting, business development, and strategy, including roles at Capgemini Invent and Felleskjøpet Agri. Niklas holds a Master of Science degree in Business Strategy from BI Norwegian Business School and a bachelor’s degree in Business and Information Technology from Stockholm University.

Christian joined Recover in January 2021 as Group CTO. Prior to Recover, he spent 12 years at Telenor in various commercial and technical roles including CIO, Head of Transformation and Head of Consumer Mobile. Christian holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Institute of Technology at Linköping University.

Torbjørn was appointed Country Manager in Norway in March 2025. Prior to this, Torbjørn has held various positions within Recover and most recently COO. In his capacity as COO, Flatås was responsible for both operational and commercial matters. Torbjørn has been with the company since 2003.

Kim Steendahl is CEO and Country Manager for Recover Denmark, with extensive leadership experience across both military and corporate environments. He served nearly 18 years in the Danish army before moving into senior roles at ISS Facility Services, including Regional Director and Business Unit Director. He joined Recover in 2013 and has played a key role in developing the Danish business. Kim holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School and a Diploma in Management from Niels Brock.

David boasts a successful leadership career at Gärdets Bygg, becoming CEO in 2014. Following Recover's 2022 acquisition of Gärdets Bygg, David continued leading the company. His extensive industry experience and strong leadership skills contributed to his appointment as Country CEO of Recover Sweden in 2024. David is a certified leader through 'Business Leader International'.
