Climate & Emissions
We take a structured approach to measuring and reducing emissions across Scope 1, 2 and 3, with a clear focus on Scope 3. We have committed to develop science-based targets aligned with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), ensuring our future targets are robust, transparent, and in line with the Paris Agreement. Science-based climate action We are strengthening our emissions data while already implementing practical reduction measures in operations and logistics.
Key emission sources and reduction measures
Our emissions primarily stem from transport, materials, and subcontracted services. Improving data quality, especially in Scope 3, is a key priority to enable credible and effective target setting.
At the same time, we are actively reducing emissions through:
- Transition to low- and zero-emission vehicles where feasible
- Renewable electricity (100% in controlled operations)
- Reduced travel through planning and digital tools
We aim to reduce emissions while maintaining operational efficiency and supporting our customers’ climate goals.
Damage control and restoration is inherently circular
In Norway we work to further reduce waste by prioritizing repair, reuse and refurbishment over replacement.
We are developing solutions that extend material lifecycles and reduce waste where possible across our operations and customer deliveries.
Examples include:
- Recover ReFloor – reuse of wood flooring through controlled processing and testing
- Recover ReWrap – a pilot focused on repairing interiors and furniture
These initiatives reduce waste, preserve resources and demonstrate scalable circular solutions.
Efficient use of resources
We work systematically to reduce the use of materials, energy and transport across our operations. Our focus areas include: • Optimized material usage • Renewable energy and energy efficiency • Reduced travel through improved logistics Through Recover Discover, we are developing tools for smarter claims management that reduce unnecessary site visits and resource use.
